We have unleashed a new blog with an album preview video! It’s our first music video!

In late August, we will convene in the studio (with producer Will Dailey) to begin work on our debut full-length on the heels of recording three EPs during 2007. We have put together much of the money for the studio but we are now turning to YOU, the fan, the friend, or family, to help us pull together to proper funds to put this album in motion.
Fan funded albums are nothing new and have recently emerged as a credible way for artists to pay for their projects. It’s easy. Just click the button, enter the amount, and voila, you’ve become a patron of the arts.
What is this all about? Hopefully we can answer some of your questions:
Why are you doing this?
Albums are expensive (click the link to see how expensive)! The industry has been changing so much over recent years leading us to not pursue the most traditional way that bands fund albums–the record labels. We’ve seen the success of other artists who have run similar programs–Jill Sobule and Scott Andrew to name a couple–and want to put the power in the hands of the people!
What’s in it for me?
Each sponsorship of a certain level (at least $15) is a pre-order of the album. With each level you get other goodies too (see below for the awards). You get to support a hard-working band too (so you’ll sleep good at night).
Thumbs Up Award $15-24 = Acknowledgment in liner notes, Autographed copy of the album (to be received before actual street date), access to MP3s before official release of album w/ Thank You Letter.
YouRock (’Devil Horns) Award $25-49= Pre-order of the album + official album T-Shirt w/ Thank You Letter.
Fist Bump Award $50-99= 2 Copies of the album + 2 T-shirts + 2 tickets to the CD release party w/ Thank You Letter.
Chest Bump Award $100-499= Everything from $50 level + special acoustic EP download.
Shredder Award $500-999= Everything from $50 level + mention as executive producer in the album.
